Please Note For Housing Assistance: If dependents in the household are not your children, you MUST provide proof of custodianship. If dependents are over 18, please provide proof that they are enrolled in school, proof of employment, or complete the statement of zero income.
Please detail in the affidavit your “REASON FOR THE HARDSHIP- WHY DO YOU NEED EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE”? What caused the hardship?
All documents returned must be unexpired and clear copies. We only fund cases that are deemed emergencies by the county of Essex.
Clients must live in Essex County OR be moving INTO Essex County.
PLEASE DO NOT RETURN YOUR PAPERWORK UNTIL YOU HAVE ALL THAT IS REQUIRED. IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED!
